Joanne is a visual artist and producer of social projects, working across events, installations, film and writing. Joanne’s work plays with scenarios and narratives that act as catalysts for exposing and examining complex histories. Her research is focused on diary writing, daily tragedies and architectures of escapism.

She has worked on critical and socially engaged projects in collaboration with the Pitt Rivers Museum, the National Trust, the Wellcome Collection, the National Maritime Museum, Pratt Institute NY, Marseille Capital Culture, Café Gallery Projects, Elevator Gallery and Battersea Pump House Gallery. Joanne is a tutor at Goldsmiths College (0.5) and a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art.
