Joanne is a visual artist and producer of social projects. Her research is focused on architecture as entertainment, diary writing and the narrativising of precarity. Joanne works across film, writing and events, playing with the creation of new identities within a complex and unpredictable techno-centric milieu. She has worked on critical and socially engaged projects in collaboration with the Pitt Rivers Museum, the National Trust, the Wellcome Collection, the National Maritime Museum, Pratt Institute NY, Marseille Capital Culture, Café Gallery Projects, Elevator Gallery and Battersea Pump House Gallery. Joanne is a tutor at Goldsmiths College (0.5) and a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art.
